Time to use that FSA balance
While it may be hard to believe, the end of the year is fast approaching. Life is about to get much busier around the holidays, so don’t lose sight of your flexible spending account (FSA) balance. We’re here to help you make a plan to use the funds before the end of the year or any grace period expires.
In general, anything that treats or prevents a dental disease is eligible for FSA coverage. This means that your teeth cleanings, fillings, dentures, bonding, crowns, and any diagnostic or preventative services will qualify. Your FSA will not, however, cover teeth whitening, veneers, braces, or Invisalign services. Every FSA is different, and your provider may interpret rules differently than other providers.
Before you rush out to spend your FSA money, take a moment to create a strategy that will help you accomplish more with the funds you have available. We’re happy to sit with you to discuss your dental wellness plans and work with your FSA provider to show you what will or won’t qualify.
If you require services in the coming years, we are happy to break down costs and speak to you about making adjustments to your FSA in the future to accommodate your needs. It’s important that every patient look at both short-term and long-term plans.
We’re here for you. We consider you a member of the SmilesRForever family, and if you need help with the process or even your paperwork, please let us know, and we can guide you. With our help, you can go back to your holiday joy! See us today.
